Elzinga
& Hoeksema Greenhouses – Integrated
marketing "assists" for the PR slam-dunk.
While we knew PR was the way to go to get the word out on the
new Elzinga organic greenhouse, we also knew some marketing
"assists" would make the effort more memorable.
here's what we did:
• our unfolding square invitation mailer set the theme for
the open house, intriguing the press with several
prestigious speakers, and enticing them with the
promise of gourmet organic food and beverages.
• signage for the Open House carried relevant facts on geothermal,
wind power and solar energy, as well
as the harmful effects
of pesticides.
• we worked to help develop the look and feel of the Open
House, designing centerpieces, agendas, tote
bags and more to
further underscore the "growing organic" theme.
• we gave the existing Elzinga website a makeover, creating
a fresh, new look. We also developed a new
consumer-friendly
URL – GardensAreEasy.com – for
better search capability and consumer outreach.
